在牧羊少年店內，你會看見一個只供場內閱讀的旅遊書書架，放置了所有世界各地最新的旅遊攻略，深度遊記和世界見聞等等。你可點一杯卡布，吃一件蛋糕， 然後開始拿出你的記事本，跟你的朋友，一邊呷著咖啡，一邊快樂地編排下一個旅程。
In The Alchemist Cafe, you will see a book shelf for tourism books that are for reading on the spot. We have all the latest travel guides, deep travels and stories from around the world. You may order a cup of cappuccino and a piece of cake, then taking out your notebook to plan happily the next journey with your friend while enjoying coffee.
2. 漂書
Book Crossing
如你家中有封了塵的舊書，不會再翻閱，但又不捨得丟掉。你可以把它帶來 牧羊少年，我們會以一張本店餐飲現金券跟你交換。而那個不知道是他還是 她，將會在書架上看見這本舊書。如他或她喜歡的話，便會自律地把$10書 款放到旁邊的錢箱之中，然後把書帶走。所以我建議你如在書中有一兩句喜 歡的句子，嘗試用螢光筆間起來吧。雖然不知道最後你的書會花落誰家，但 那人既然喜歡你所看的書，多少跟你有點心有靈犀吧。而他捐出的那$10元 書款，我們會定期撥作文化或慈善用途。
舊書得到被再次翻開的命運，捐書人以舊書換到優惠券，買書人廉價買到 心頭好，書款用在文化慈善之上。一石四鳥，這就是牧羊少年在很多年前 已經開始，「以書易啡」的漂書精神。
舊書接收細則:
1/由於捐書者眾多，書架空間有限，每位客人每天只限捐一本舊書。2/書本太舊，缺頁或有污漬恕不接受。3/只收繁體中文字和英文書。4/雜誌，期刊，漫畫，教科書，工具書，宗教系列，少女怡情系列，載有色情內容，有時間性保鮮期的書籍(例如遊記攻略)，一概恕不接收。5/ 接收與否最終決定權歸於本店同事。
3. 未來的信
Future Postal
牧羊少年裡，有明信片售賣及代寄服務，鼓勵客人放下 手機，用筆記下感受，刻下心情，然後在五年內任何一個 指定日子，由我們代為寄出。
在未來的某天，突然收到來自過去自己的來信，那刻的你，又是否長大了嘛？某個當年的夢，是達成了還是放棄了？ 而那個人，是離開了呢，還是仍然在你身邊？
low post is the opposite of speed post. In The Alchemist Café, there are postcard sales and slow post services. We encourage the guests to put down their mobile phones, and write down their impression and feelings on the postcard. Then we will send them on any designated day within five years.
On a certain day in the future, when you receive suddenly a letter from your past, would you wonder if you grow up at that moment? Whether your dream come true or you gave up? And is that person left, or is still by your side?

慢遞服務細則:
1/ 本店會使用香港郵政局的郵寄服務。 2/ 寄出時間以寄件人填寫的代寄信封為准。3/到達的日期時間將視乎當地郵政局的派發進度。4/本店承諾一定為寄件者按時寄出，但無法保證收件人一定能收妥信件。5/本店將不承擔因郵遞 失誤所引致的損失。6/代寄服務只限於本店購買的明信片。 7/ 如有任何爭議，本店保留最終決定權及解釋權。
Slow Post service terms & conditions:
1/ We use the postal service of Hongkong Post. 2/ The time of sending the postcards shall be subject to the envelope on which the sender has filled out. 3/ The date and time of arrival will depend on the distribution schedule of the local post office. 4/ The Alchemist Cafe promises to send the poster out on time, but there is no guarantee that the recipient will receive it. 5/ The Alchemist Cafe will not be liable for losses caused by postal errors. 6/ We post the postcards sold in our Café only. 7/ In case of any dispute, The Alchemist Cafe reserves the right of final decision and interpretation.
If you have a dusty old book in your home, you would not read it again, but you do not want to throw it away, you can bring it to The Alchemist Cafe. We will exchange you with a shop cash coupon. And then someone will see this old book on the shelf. If she likes it, she should self-discipline to put $10 in the cash box next to the book shelf and take the book home. Although we do not know who will pick your book in the end, we would suggest you to highlight one or two sentences you like in the book. The person likes the book you read would probably have the same feeling as you. The $10 she donated will be used for cultural or charitable purposes on a regular basisThe old book got the fate of being read again. The donors exchanged the old books for coupons. The book buyers bought them cheaply. The books fund would use for cultural or charitable purposes. Four birds with one stone, this was what The Alchemist Cafe started it a few years ago, for the spirit of the “Barter Book for Coffee”.
Old book collection notes: 1/ Due to the large number of books donated, our shelf space is limited, and each guest can only donate one old book per day. 2/ If the book is too old, there is a missing page or the book is yellowed, they will not be collected. 3/ We only accept Chinese traditional and English book. 4 / Magazines, periodicals, comics, textbooks, reference books, religious series, girly love series, books with pornographic content, time-saving preservation period (such as travel guide), will not be collected. 5/ The final decision on whether to collect or not is attributed to our colleagues.
